That can happen, the synchronization doesn’t work. They want to find the problem. There is a log file for the analysis.
Open the log file after synchronization with the status button. At the end of the synchronization, the status button has one of the two icons:
Click the status button to open the log file. At the end there are the most recent lines. Therefore it makes sense to read the file from the end (below).
Each line begins with the date and time as well as a categorization:
- [Information] This line only outputs information.
- [Warning] This line affects the synchronization. The synchronization is completed
- [Error] This line shows an error. The error affects the synchronization of an entry or the entire synchronization.
This is followed by a note where the error occurred and a description of the same.
In the case of contacts or appointments, a reference to the entry usually follows at the end. It should be noted here that time information is given in UTC time format.
If the synchronization “sticks” to a contact or appointment, you can remove the appointment / contact in Outlook or Google for a test and perform the synchronization again. The synchronization may be in progress.

This error message prevents the deletion of all contact data. The Google service does not return any data. You may have deleted the data yourself. It could also be a problem with the Google service. There is a similar message for appointments.
Workaround
Solve the problem by creating a contact (or appointment) in Google.

The series sample was not recognized for the series appointment “crawling group”. It is possible that the appointment cannot be converted to Outlook / Google.

With both errors the calendar \ no_replay@gmail.com was not found. May be the calendar was removed or renamed.
Solution
Please check the configuration in the wizard and save the configuration at the last page of wizard.

Operating system or Microsoft Office compoment is removed / missing.
Solution
- The VSTO Runtime has been uninstalled or partially removed by uninstalling other programs. You can download the VSTO Runtime on the following page: Download Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime and install as described on the download page.
- Outlook version older than 2016 is installed. Then you should update to Outlook version 2016, 2019 or Office 365.
